Favorite FREE Kid Apps

Those of you who have an iPod or iPad are probably like us and have children who are always sneaking off with them. We have put together a list of some of our favorite FREE educational or fun Aps for kids (us adults also really enjoy them), these can also come in real handy while waiting at the doctor's office or what not:

1. Toy Story Read - Along: This is one of our favorite freebie Apps. It is a fully interactive reading experience packed with Games, Movie Clips, Coloring Pages, Sing-along Tunes. One great feature is you can actually record your own voice reading the book.  
2. Talking Tom: Tom is your pet cat, that responds to your touch and repeats everything you say with a funny voice. You can pet him, poke him or grab his tail.
3. Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift: Help get the candy to Om Nom, the adorable monster.
4. Angry Birds: This has become a very popular game. Dish out revenge on the green pigs who stole the Birds’ eggs. 
5. Touch Hockey: Touch Hockey outclasses every air hockey game available on the iPhone and iPod touch with the fastest animations possibl.
6. FirstWords Sampler: It is a game that teaches little ones about letters, shows them how letters form words.
7. Jam Pad: A digital multitouch jamming machine. Play up to 4 instruments at once: piano/keyboard, rhythm guitar/ukulele, electric guitar, and drum loop. 

Another great freebie is to search the iTunes store for Free TV episodes. They have some great ones for the kids such as Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street, Word World and more.
