FREE Snowshoeing or Cross Country Skiing at Soldier Hollow

Soldier Hollow in Midway, will be offering free trail passes, equipment, and mini lessons to all first time skiers this Saturday, Jan. 8 from 12:30-4pm. They are also offering free snowshoeing on marked and mapped trails. Schedule: 12:30- 4:00 Cross Country Ski Lessons: 1:00-3:30, starting every half hour on the half hour.

Soldier Hollow is named one of the top four Nordic ski resorts in America, by Outside Magazine. This sounds like a fun event for the outdoors. 

Snow Basin in Huntsville is also participating. You can show up to the event or it is recommended that you  pre-register.
