Some of you may already know that we deal with a Peanut Allergy in our family, so we are always looking for peanut butter substitutes. A friend of mine had mentioned that she had heard great reviews for a new product called Barney Butter Almond Butter. It does not get oily or have a weird texture and apparently tastes wonderful. It's also Gluten Free and Peanut Free, made in an Almond only facility. I am planning on trying it out. Another benefit from this alternative is that it is also much healthier than peanut butter with no trans fats or hydrogenated oils and half the saturated fat.
