Tips: Signing Up For Freebies

Here's some of the freebies that came in my mail over the last couple of days. I look forward to checking my mail to see what goodies came. Here's what I got this week:
-Free subscription to Working Mother
-Free subscription to Popular Science
-Free subscription to Women's Day
-Sample of Men's Dove Deodorant (perfect for traveling with)
-Free pack of tomato seeds
-6 Free Samples of Emergen-C and $1 off coupon (still available)

This is only a couple of days worth of freebies. There are always many freebies available because companies want you to try and ultimately buy their products. These are especially available for new products.
The great thing about many of these free samples is that they also come with high value coupons that you cannot get anywhere else.

I try to only post valid freebies and stay clear from anything fraudulent, but there are a few tips you want to keep in mind to keep your information safe when signing up for these free sample:

-Set up an e-mail account used for sample offers only to avoid spam mail in your normal e-mail account
-Don't use your real birthday - I only give my real birthday when signing up for a birthday offer with the actual company.
-Never sign up for a freebie that requires a credit card.
-Sign up fast, most freebies have a limited number available.
-Only sign up for freebies that are from a legitimate source such as the company's own website or Facebook.
-Create a Facebook account that you use only for promotional items. You could use a nickname and you could also use the spam e-mail account that you created to go along with this Facebook account.
